Deane and Norm's Motorcycle Trip to Labrador | |

June 21 - Honda Hoot - 2nd Day |
| Today was "ride the Demo bikes"
day! This is a major attraction of "Honda Hoot" for
Deane. Honda brings a number of their newest motorcycles, and anyone
can take a demonstration ride, provided they have the required safety
equipment, such as Helmet, gloves, shoes extending above the ankle, long
pants, and long-sleeved shirt or preferably motorcycle jacket.
Recently Honda has invited a number of other manufactures to bring their Demo bikes, and this year there were EIGHT manufacturers of motorcycles offering demo rides! As any of our motorcycling friends know, What Fun!
Deane, Norm, and Kay finished up their day by going to the "Dixie Stampede" at "Dollywood" in Pigeon Forge. Great entertainment! |

Deane
signed up for and rode four bikes, and Norm rode three. Kay rode
with Norm on the bigger ones with adequate passenger seating. They
couldn't resist riding the new Gold Wing 1800.
Deane
fell in love with a Ducati ST-2, and it's a good thing he had no way of
getting it home, or he might have found room for another bike in his
motorcycle garage. (I can hear Diane saying "Not another
motorcycle!")
